Road feeder with wireless remote options?

What options are out there for a road feeder with a wireless remote?

I have an All Seasons Hercules Road feeder. But would really prefer a wireless remote. Has anyone modified one to support a wireless remote?

Or is there another manufacturer out there that makes a road feeder with a wireless remote?

Texas Hunter products’ road feeders are wireless. Bought mine 6 years ago. Had to replace batteries in the remote once since then. Works like a charm.

I have a texas hunter products road feeder that is wireless. Comes with garage remotes that activate the motor. They have a 50lb and 100 lb. feeder. The way the plates below the spin plate are situated allows for about a 6 or so foot across spread of corn. I like it, but its the only wireless one i have had.

Another vote for Texas Hunter products. I have the 100lb one and it’s a very well built road feeder and like mentioned already it has the wireless remote. I’d really like to trade it and get a 50lb one bc I don’t need one this big.

Bucee's has a boss buck 80 lb model that is wireless. $179
Only downfall is it has the cup style slinger (I think), so you lose corn on bumps and such.

There is a contingent of people here that like to hate on West Texas Game Feeder products but that's all we use and have never had an issue. Feeders are rock solid and if anything happens they fix/replace anything at no charge. Just be careful not to lose the remote, replacements are hard to find!

                  Thanks for the responses.

For those of you that have modified your feeders to add a remote, how are you getting 12 volt power to the motor? Deer feeder battery mounted somewhere?

Any dealers/contacts for a discounted Texas Hunter Products feeder? I’m less than 30 minutes away from them in San Antonio.

Here is a bracket to mount a 12V battery to power up THE-REMOTE to put on any road feeder.

You can also get power from your trailer lighting connection if equipped.

Okay here is what I did to make my Texas Wildlife Supply feeder "wireless" instead of running that cord through the bed and into the cab.

                        I bought a 7 way trailer plug.
I bought a 2 pin cord that matched the feeder remote plug (you could just cut the one that comes with the feeder controller but I wanted that as a backup)
I wired the 2 wires to the ground and to the trailer brake pin on the 7 way.
I plug the 2 pin into the feeder (just like the wired remote is supposed to be) and I plug the 7 way into my truck.

When I want to activate my feeder, I reach down and hit the manual slider on the trailer brake. The higher you have your gain turned up, the harder is seems to throw.

                        Works awesome for me.

So good, I’m going to do it and claim it as my idea
