I’ve had Matthews, Hoyt, bow tech, strothers, Martin, prime, all were good bows. Have had an expedition for a couple years, and won’t get rid of it, great shooter, feels like when the arrow is released, hard to explain. Compared to other bows I’ve had like a 7 mag compared to a 243. Sold my prime and bought an Athens ridge 32. Most dead in the hand bow I’ve ever shot. At 55 lbs, it’s almost blowing thru the target. It was my second Athens and I’d never shot this model before buying it, had a shop set it up and fell in love immediately. Athens is a small company not many dealers, but you deal directly with owners and top people. Many choices, all bows are well made, just gotta go with gut feeling.
