If y’all ever see how hot those hoses get coupled with the condensation issues you would cut a hole in the trailer and frame it for sliding in a 5k btu window unit.

What's a good portable AC for a reasonable price? I found lots of em on Amazon, but I have no idea which one to choose. I don't wanna buy something cheap and useless too.

Is the camper in an RV park?- You can put another RV ac in the bedroom vent opening and run power to it via a secondary cord to the 110v plugs on the park pedestal. Multiple youtube videos to show this. That will be the way to make you the coldest. I had two units in my 25' camper and 3 in the 5th wheel we have now. They all run continuously in the summer

The portable I used when we went to Port A in August didn’t help much at all. Best it would do is keep it 80° in the camper during daytime and the condensate catch was a PITA. It would fill up and shut down in the middle of the night.

Best thing I did was to install a 2nd RV unit in the front bedroom.

Used one for years in my single AC RV, exact same reason - bedroom wouldn't stay cool.
It was a simple system (no condensate) that had to have an exhaust, so I simply cut a board to fit the window, cut a hole to attach the hose bracket to, and that was it. It would cool the bedroom down to about 60.

I used a portable air conditioner, which was very comfortable on hot summer days. When buying a portable air conditioner, look at the British Thermal Units' rating as it determines the cooling capacity. Also, consider the size and weight of the unit, as you will have to move and store it when not in use. Since I only knew some of this initially, I had to spend a lot of money to correct the mistakes. One day even my air conditioner failed, and I am glad that an air conditioner repair company provides emergency ac repair in Riverview, FL. Good luck to you, I am sure you will enjoy this portable air conditioner.

Had one in a 5th wheel and it blew air, not even close to cool or cold. POS, but it was only a single hose.
