    Cab Polaris vs Can am

Ok i want to hear the pros and cons of the Cabbed Polaris northstar vs the Defender HD10 limited.

Ive been looking at both and plan to pull the trigger before long. We have had Polaris rangers for years. We still have 4 and they have been good to us. Very familiar with the Polaris problems.

If i bought one today it would be a Polaris solely because im familiar with them But i see alot of good things about the can am.

It will be a cab model with HVAC so curious as to the pros and cons of each. I have not had the chance to ride or mess with a can am at all. We have alot of sandy dust so has polaris fixed the dust intrusion problem or is the can am better.

What little ive seen the cab on the Defender appears to be better.

IMO, CanAm is what I would choose between the two. I have friends who have both machines and the CanAm is a much better quality fit and finish and is more quiet than the Polaris.
I have had both Polaris and CanAm ATV's and currently ride a CanAm Outlander Max XT. It is a much better machine than my previous Polaris ATV's.

I've owned CanAm, Polaris, and Gator. Dad and brother have owned the Fox Mule Pro. CanAm hands down everytime

Ive read alot of them over time. But still didnt see much on the Cabed models.

Im only concerned with a Cabed ranger vs Cabed defender.

Not trying to sound like a jerk. Just want this topic to be about the Cab models so we can differ it from all the other polaris vs honda vs canam vs yamaha vs gator threads.

Only reason im considering the canam is possibly because of the better cab.

If it was open station i would be buying another polaris.

The new cabs on the limited model is very tight so you don't get dust intrusion. That is what my friends tell me who have them. The bulk of my response was about the cab model based on feedback from friends of mine who have them. My comments about what I ride was just comparison of CanAm vs Polaris in general based on my own personal experiences. No offense taken.

I have seen a lot of people complain about the dust in brand new cab can am defenders.

Good to hear thanks for the input! I have heard the same about the can am. Just not had the chance to ride or know someone with a cab model to compare.

Ive heard alot of good things about canams for sure. I do know they have more bells and whistles which is good and bad.

Ive heard and read that complaint about both. Wonder if these where first year or 2 models or the latest. For the price it better be dang near truck quality..

Also wondering if i should hold off another year to see if they get better about it with the 2022s

I just got the Can-Am limited. I went with this one as I was told the AC doesn’t require the high RPM as the Polaris.

                  Verdict it still out.

Can Am has a much better AC on the crew cabs, but Polaris re did them for 22

One thing that caught my attention so far is I only drove this thing 1.5 miles and after turning it off I notice the exhaust pipe glowing red. Kinda has me a little nervous but a friends Loan Start edition does the same.
