Cummins DEF Engine sensor

I have a commercial vehicle with a cummins engine that just got a QLS fault which is the DEF quality sensor. I'm told that the part is 8-12 weeks on back order and a EPA software work around is being worked on. Anyone know what can be done?

Delete is the best fix, but probably not an option being a commercial vehicle.

Get in line and wait. I have 3 of my trucks sitting in the parking lot right now waiting for the same sensor.

We have a couple of Peterbilts that were down for multiple weeks with the same issue, they have just come out with a fix where they submit a letter to the feds for approval and can reprogram your unit on a case by case basis.
