Honest question- y'all recon they sink or float once their heartrate goes to zero bpm?
A friend told me they float

But you literally have to have like a 1,000.
Most fun I ever had was managing a 1,300 ac. Wetland. We had a permit and I bet we killed over 6-700 of them one season.
They don’t flare and fall like geese with a sand hill beak.
Could literally kill 50-100 per day,

Cormorants are NOT Water Turkeys... The Anhinga is a water turkey. Both are diving fishing birds, but an Anhinga is not a flock bird. The Cormorants are flock birds and can destroy a fishery... Small ponds can be protected by netting pretty easily. I've caught cormorants on trot lines using live perch for bait on hooks in 20+ feet of water!
