Did some work there 20 or so years ago when they were building...

Was a crazy stuff going on with the Dr that owned it...no way I would have accepted an overnight stay there.

I am sure things have changed.

I had a great hunt there but that was 12-15 yrs ago.I did not know they were still operating.

I've talked to Dr. Robert Mcfarlane the owner of The Big Woods several times as he is a customer of ours. Never noticed anything odd during our conversations. They have our feeder lights at many of their stands for hog hunting at night. I have talked to a few of their customers and they all enjoyed their hunt and said they would recommend the place.

I've met him once at the Lone Star Land Steward Awards a few years ago. Seemed like a nice enough guy with what looks like a really nice place.

Never hunted there, but seems like a good guy. When I was in high school we would go out there for different FFA competitions that they would host.
