Need Help Tractor Shredder Gearbox - Cracked Housing

I borrowed my lease land owners tractor hit a dang stump in tall grass.

Shredder bound up and cracked on of the gearbox caps on the housing.

Needing to find some replacement parts.

I’m not savy in this stuff, I already pulled the gear box in case wherever I take need to look at it

Is it easier to replace the whole gear box?

Did a quick google search and Ag-Meier bought this Continental Belton shredder line. It’s now called the Mohawk line.

    See pics.

Just need to be pointed in right direction.

Need to find a local ag Meier dealer. They should be able to get the part from them

Looks like you can replace the front nosepiece, for lack of a better term.

Also , looks like you need the oil too.

A new gear box won’t be cheap. Hope you can get the parts.

I wrecked a gear box on a Big Ox mower (no longer made).
Agri-supply was helpful and not terribly expensive

Looks easy enough to replace that part. Make sure it comes with the seal, or order a seal also.

Dont forget the gear oil as said above.

Looks like the bearing is burned up too.

That's why I hate to borrow stuff. When I loan stuff out they usually just bring it back broke. Hope you can find the part by spring time and get it repaired.
