If you were having good dreams next time wait for the swelling to go down then it will be easier to pee.

This. When I was with HFD the key phrase we listened for was, "Feels like there's a weight on my chest," or, "Feels like my chest is in a vise."

The left arm thing was fairly common but not always a symptom. The red herring was when a patient presented with self-described "pressure" rather than "pain" on their chest.

I wish it would have been that easy.

If it's you that's having symptoms get your ### to a facility and get checked out. I'd hate to see a good guy go because he waited.
Thanx Marko! I have been checked out and they cant find anything, MRI, Ultrasound, blood test, everything but a stress test. Even a colonoscopy….that was fun

I didn't have any symptoms at all. I never felt any of the normal pains.
I went in for a check up and the doctor did an EKG. It showed that I had a heart attack sometime in the past 5 years.

I have not had one but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time. Both my Grandpas (76 and 55) and my Dad (66) died from heart attacks. None of them overweight. Common theme was that they all smoked for many years at some point in their lives. I don’t. Good reminder thread to pay attention to your body and better be safe than sorry if you feel “off” to go get checked.

Talk to your doctor about taking a baby aspirin every morning

Same here. But mine was in the past year.

Ended up doing a nuclear stress test and found a shadow.

Heart cath later, found a secondary artery with a 90% blockage and put in a stent.

I was 41 years old. At first it was start and stop pressure in my chest. Sweating and throbbing in my neck. Later it was constant moderate to significant pressure in my chest, neck, jaw, shoulders and left arm. Labored breathing and a calm I cannot explain. That one required 4 stents in secondary blood vessels.
A year and a half later a stent in the LAD. In 2015 another mild one and 2019 one while in the hospital for trauma/ internal bleeding. All felt the same, but different.
The LAD was pressure in the right upper chest.
2015 started upper mid chest like feeling a chunk of stuck bread in my throat and pressure in my biceps.
Like said before. Having a cardiac event means get you *** to the emergency room.
