    Deer corn $7.10

Producers Cooperative has deer corn on sale for 7 something but a pallet price is $7.10. Pallets have 40 bags. Limit 1 pallet.

    Sale Sept 2 - Sept 6, 2021.

Where they get you is it’s a 40 pound bag of corn. I just do the math and get the price per pound. So if my math is right a $7.10 bag is $.18 (rounded off) per pound, which makes a 50 pound bag $9.

Also, Bar None Stores in Speegleville and McGregor are having a corn sale, $7.75 per 50 lbs. or $.16 per lb. Did not see a limit on pallets.

I’ve never seen producers sell a 40lb bag of corn. They have a special on deer corn by the pallet on Labor Day every year.

In his mind he read “Academy” or “Walmart”.

We “book” all our corn each year at AGMED in goliad.
Pay up front and they store it until you need it
I haven’t heard the book price this year yet. Usually not a large savings, but really convenient.

Through end of day Monday, yes. And that equates to $240 / ton. A pallet is 1 ton.

And -- those are 50 pound sacks.

Regular price is $8.80 at the moment.

I got a pallet Saturday from Producer's Co-op, and, yes, they are 50 lb. bags. 1 ton to a pallet, $284.

Correct, except it is $284 a pallet. Lady at the counter said it would probably go back to 8.80 a bag Tuesday.
