Prayers sent.... Hang in there brother.. It's a crazy world we are living in at the moment with no relief in sight.. Keep your faith...
I lost 3 friends in one day a couple days ago.. 2 to COVID and one in a head on collision.. That's a total of 9 friends I've lost in 4 months and only 1 was over 55 years old.... It's like a very bad dream...

Hey little buddy, check in when you can and let us know you're OK... You know we love ya!!

Lord please continue to watch over our brother Kevin and his bride Tina and little Konnor. Comfort them and the families as they deal with the late season issues with their loved ones. Be merciful Lord and grant them peace. In Jesus name, Amen.

Potassium level got too low. Happened to my grandpa. He told us where to go get the taters out of a closet down the hall at Sherman hospital and we could fry them up for lunch. He was talkin all sorts of crazy stuff until they hung an IV on him. Came back to normal in no time.

Prayers sent for you and Tina. Life can get vicious sometimes. In a two year period, my wife lost her father, mother, sister, brother, a niece and her last aunt. It was the toughest time we have endured since we've been married. Give Tina a hug from all of us.

My wife was told Tuesday by a doctor that the Delta Variant is not showing up as a Covid positive test even when the doctors believe the patients have it.

So we got the official diagnosis, on my step mom today. She had a stroke, in the brain's stem. It took the doctors really digging deep into the MRI to find it, and they say it's in the worst possible place to have a stroke. She seems to be breathing more and more on her own, so she may come off the vent sometime in the near future. She's going to have a long road to recovery.

Thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers.
It means a lot to have this distant "family" to lean on.

Sorry to hear all these things are pulling on your heart and family. Family getting older and loosing their vitality sucks. Praying for peace as you navigate this season

Kathleen's end of life directive says that she does not want to be kept alive by artificial means or heroic measures. Her chance of every returning to a normal, self sufficient life are almost zero. Her brain is still working but the stroke has essentially disconnected her brain from her body.

At her request she will be taken off the ventilator at 1.30 today. She is a devout Catholic and believes He will take control. She is ready for what He has chosen for her.
