How are y’all enjoying the post “off for covid” traffic

Boy I will tell you what. A year of working from the house sure has ruined me for sitting in traffic an hour and a half every day driving to the office. I want to murder somebody about eight times every morning and eight times on the way home. I’m trying to listen to my Christian music and Bible studies so I don’t become a felon.

I hope that God grant you all peace and health and happiness and wonderful day. God bless you all.

I am with you been working out of my house since April 2020. I dread going back but looks like we aren't going back any time soon.

I don't even have an office anymore. Our lease was up Jan 2021 and we were going to renew but just decided to let it run out, continue working from home and maybe eventually get a new office somewhere. I had to go give blood this morning at 7:30 and reminded me how lucky I've been to not sit in that every day. I can say, I work in a business that does NOT require me to go into an office to be productive, if we are ever told we have to, I will start looking that very day. AND, I love my company but no need to do that and life is too short to waste 3 hours a day sitting in your vehicle stressed out and blood pressure rising.

Enjoyed it while it lasted earlier this year. Few cars on the road , but things are back to the way they were. Vehicle fires, wrecks, rubber neckers.

My head and heart are in Leon County on the Kubota and my a#$ is driving into downtown Houston most days.

My BP, stress level, and overall health have been noticeably better from NOT driving 1.5 hours in Houston traffic during the week.

And it has gotten even worse with school starting. When everyone was home this time last year it was 80mph from Cypress to the Galleria area, now it is over an hour!. I just keep telling myself that retirement is in sight!!

Yep. However since our second was born, I've been in charge or daycare drop off and pick up. The car ride after I drop my son off, or before I pick him up, is the least stressful part of the day. Put on a podcast or good music, and check out.

The more traffic the better. Only downfall is when I get home at night I may need to work a few extra hours to make up for it after everyone has gone to bed.
