I have always sat on a basic swivel bucket but I shoot much better while standing. I don't always want to stand for several hours when it's slow, and jumping up off a short bucket to shoot often flares the birds. I'm considering what might work in the way of a really tall stool where I will almost be in a standing position. Maybe one of those people use while viewing golf tournaments?

Lately I have noticed that I normally have just about everything except dove. Those things seem to be the most difficult part of dove hunting anymore.

Yes, I take my spouse. My wife has just as much fun as me - except when the birds are not flying. I can scan the horizon for hours just watching for that one pair to skirt the pond by 400 yards while she is looking at TBH on her phone!

Yes sir...shooting an O/U I don't use it as much but I still carry one when I get frustrated and crack my barrel open and they fly. Like was said above the retractable HF one is a good one for the money....

And I love me some mojos....we hunt over large corn fields down south and its nice to manipulate them in closer when you don't have enough folks to cover the field. We only hunt our field a few times a year so no worries about "messing things up.

Academy sells a 6 gallon bucket in the baseball/softball section. It's 4-5 inches taller, makes a big difference.

They also have a "3/4" stool (or they used to, I have 3 of them), where your knees are actually below your waist (big help).

With the lack of birds, I’m taking my old Smokey, Steaks, sweet taters, jalapeƱo cheesy bread, thong, sunscreen and beer . Shiner Bock

I like 2. 1 facing into the wind and the other perpendicular to the first spaced apart.

Took mine once. She drank most of my beer, got drunk and started dancing in the dove field.
