    Switchback XT question

Just bought one and the 70 lb pull may be a little much for the tourney tomorrow. How do I lower the draw weight? Thanks!

bolts that hold the limps to the riser will adjust the poundage.

i would mark the bolts so you know how much you turned it.

    loosen each bolt equal......

i full turn should equal approx 3 lbs

i would tighten the bolts all the way down then back off. i would not loosen the bolts more than 3 turns

Contact your local Mathews dealer before you loosen you limb screws. Too much and POW!!! ....followed by ouch followed by 911 call.

Adjust the limb bolts out evenly. I can't remember what each full is equal to in draw weight, I think it was like 3 lbs. It could be more.

Edit: CG and BA beat me to it.

The bow will perform better at it's full potential, however, you will preform better within your limits.

Good info, thanks. I think I'll just wait until I can make it in to the bowshop....I don't want "whacked by a Mathews limb" written on my tombstone....
