Just got back to the house with this big feller. He was running back & forth (nose to the ground) down at the feeder, but would never stop to give me a shot.
So, I decided to see if I could walk down there, and put a sneak on him.
There was a sneak alright, but it was him charging out of the brush at me. He was head down, and full bore right at me.
Dropped him at 10 yards thanks to a well sighted in red dot laser sight. Hit him right over the skull center left, and dropped him in his tracks.
That's enough excitement for one night.
