Good Idea to anchor it, but may be cheaper buying all the parts separately from tractor supply or a coop, rather than a kit.

step #1 - get younger guys to drive T-post at 45* angles opposing each other.

Step #2 - use slick wire and a turn buckle to anchor to the post

55 gallon barrel filled with rocks under blind. Attach with wire rope and turnbuckles.

I use this and they work good.. Sometimes you have to get a big hammer drill bit for a pilot hole where I'm at.. We used a t post and drove it in till there was only about 8 inches sticking out the drilled a hole in it and used a chain and turn buckle.. I think it's better to do one anchor and one cable or chain in the middle rather than going off the corners..

Drive a t post on each leg and wire leg to post in four spots. Should be good

Still applies today. Any blind not anchored in the panhandle will blow over. I have helped set too many back up to believe otherwise.

                        That's what I thought too....All 4 legs had t-post and #9 wire in 3 places each.Now I use the center auger with 4 wires and a turnbuckle.No more issues.

Dig a hole about 18-24" deep and 12-18" in diameter directly underneath the blind.

Take one of the auger style anchors and turn it into the ground as deep as you can go.

Pour concrete over the anchor and fill the hole 80% full. 2 bags is usually enough.

Cover with dirt and allow to cure.

Cable and turnbuckle from each corner to the anchor.

Nothing is perfect, and I have lost blinds using most of the above mentioned methods.

Anchor post set in concrete, mother nature is hard to beat. Had to many pulled up post over the years the concrete has worked.
