There are some that will claim you are saying the 'sky is falling'.
Add that with the release of a report saying returning vets and individuals who support the sovereignty of a state vs. the centralized federal government are terrorrists, plus the International Monetary Fund warning of widespread global social unrest and violence this summer from the economic downturn, and there's reason to be accused of that. -
Let me clarify who the federal government is worried about as extremists.
The federal agency recently targeted those individuals in its report called "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment."
According to the federal government, members of the suspect group of people include those who:
* Oppose restrictions on firearms
* Oppose lax immigration
* Oppose the policies of President Obama regarding immigration, citizenship and the expansion of social programs
* Oppose continuation of free trade agreements
* Oppose same-sex marriage
* Have paranoia of foreign regimes
* Fear Communist regimes
* Oppose one world government
* Bemoan the decline of U.S. stature in the world
* Are upset with the loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs to China and India

I find some of that hard to believe. The two DHS reports that were released last week were ORDERED during the BUSH administration. Yes the reports were started at the direction of W and commissioned about 6 months ago.Originally posted by Bill in San Jose View PostComment

You are absolutely correct. The reports were requested at the behest of W. Make no mistake, what is transpiring or should I say MAY transpire, is bigger than the petty two party system.
