Maybe get a lawyer with better communication?
I had a very similar discussion with a good lawyer just a few weeks ago. My 72yo dad is getting married. Properties held in a LLC. LLC says assets go to existing heirs at death. So I say, what if a will is executed after the fact that says otherwise? "That's a likely problem". What if we do a prenup and a will is executed after the fact that disagrees with the prenup? Same response. The only way we could come up with to fight against a future will was to have a trust own the LLC that owns the real estate.
