    Costco and hearing aids.

I’m headed to Costco for my next pair. I’m on my 3rd pair now and they were $7200. I have read nothing but good reviews of Costco hearing aids.

Yes sir, myself included. I've had my hearing aids for 1.5yrs now and I paid nearly $8300 for them. That's not including the extra few office visits that I paid for as well. A lady my wife works with got hers from Costco and hers do way more than mine will at a fraction of the cost. Wish I'd known then what I know now!!

Maybe a silly question...but can you buy just one? I have perfect hearing in my left ear, but less than 10% (growth on my stapes that started in 20's) in my right ear.

I got mine not long after I made this post. I haven’t been too impressed with them. I think the quality I’d good but I can’t say they have helped my conversation abilities much at all. I can hear a pin drop in the other room though. Kind of weird.

It will take time. Your brain is re-learning to hear. It will get better.

I hate my hearing aids! After dozens of attempts at 2 different offices thru 3 sets of hearing aids, some stuff still dosen’t sound right. My kid has a $100 pair of earbuds that sound awesome, but they can’t make $7000 hearing aids reproduce sound with anywhere near that quality!!

One audiologist finally told me that my ears are shot and I’ll probably never hear everything “right” again. I asked her why the $100 ear buds sounded so good, and she didn’t have an answer!

My hearing is so bad I can’t function around other people if I don’t have them, so I’m stuck with them.
