UTV Rear Jump Seat - Opinions?

With a family of four, I often find myself wishing for a crew buggy (ranger, can-am, mule). I currently have a ranger 900, regular cab, so it gets tight. If we are cruising at the camp or around the neighborhood, at least one of the boys sits in the back of the ranger. I know it is uncomfortable and the bed gets warm since it right over the engine. I thought about pulling the trigger on a new crew but after researching prices, now is just not the time.

Anyone use a rear jump seat in the bed of their buggy? See link below for an example. At least this would allow for a kid to sit up some and not have to sit directly on the bed. Thoughts? Recommendations on a particular brand?

I am worried about it squeaking, though.

Whether you’ve got a utility or all-terrain vehicle, Quadboss has you covered. Our QuadBoss UTV and ATV parts will keep you safe wherever you drive.

I would be more worried about one of my kids falling out of the bed than I would be about squeaking. With the jump seat at least they would be somewhat protected.

Have Quadboss on our Mule, it comes with seatbelts. Strap riders in & go.

Cool pics. I’m going to do something like that. I was looking at the back seats that go in a small jeep to place in the bed of my sxs facing backwards with seat belts. Some of them look a lot more comfortable than the jump seats.

How much was this? I have a can am as well and have been thinking about getting one of these. Easy to install?

There was a guy with free bus seats in the classifieds recently. A little work and you could have cheap jump seat

This is what we use. We just toss the jeep backseat in the bed facing the rear. Not as nice as nice as some of the other set ups, but works for kids sitting in the back.

                    OP,
I had the Yutrax seat in my pioneer. I literally used it twice. It is the exact same thing you posted, just a different brand. I got it at Cabela's on sale for $99.
I sold the Pioneer to a buddy and he uses it all the time.
I use my bed a lot so it was more of a hassle for me. It is super easy to take out and put back in but the rails are in your bed. Imagine shoveling dirt out of the bed and those rails are right there in the way!
I upgraded to a Can Am 6 seater.

But, that jump seat is fine. It can be had for cheaper than the link that you posted. Just look around.
I never had any issues with it squeaking. It would rattle from time to time but when kiddos are in it, it didn't.

If I remember correctly it was $2400 or so.
Yes it was rather easy to install.
