I do not believe it is a Mastadon (at least its looks nothing like the ones in my collection) it looks like a well worn Mammoth in my humble opinion.

I dont see any of the ridges on the flat chewing surface like mammoth but you could be right. Any way its a great find.

It was given to my cousin in Glen Rose by some guy he ran into. That's what he told me, and he just said I can have it if I want it.

Mammoth tooth for sure. We’ve found them down near Bluntzer at the rock quarry.
