Tire TPMS question

I found four on eBay for like 60 bucks. wondering how much one of those small tire shops would charge to install

Local shop around here will do it for about 20 bucks a tire installed and rebalanced . I’m my Ford I just disabled the tpms with forscan.

Discount Tire should have rebuilt the sensors when you bought new tires. Hold them accountable and tell them install your new ones for free..

Wasn't there a recent thread about Discount Tire and issues with the TPMS after having new tires installed?

Where do you see that free service from DT?

They will price match the sensors. Tell them to look them up on Rock Auto and they will honor that price. I just did it on my wife't Tahoe. They hadn't worked in years. He said the same thing, $60 a piece. I said nope I can get them cheaper. He said where, we will match it. Rock Auto. He pulled it up on the computer right there and got them for $16 each plus $10 installation.

Just replace the one. I had one fail and I waited half a year or so until I bought new tires to have it changed.

I manage a large (500 vehicle) fleet. We replace sensors as needed.If it needs one, replace one.

While not a Volo my tacoma had one go bad. I was able to find a hack on Google. Took one wire under the glove box and sent it straight to ground.

No more light. It's been 2 years
