Dad’s got COVID

My dad tested positive a few days ago, seems to be doing okay during the day but is very uncomfortable at night. Has a bad cough which is keeping him from getting any kind of sleep. Oxygen level seem to stay in the 90’s dipping to the 80’s every once in awhile.

If you have time, say a quick prayer for the old man and his recovery, I sure would appreciate it.

been there done that. it really helped me to sleep in the prone position. they actually encouraged it at the the hospital. Seems like it helped open up the airways

don't hesitate to take him in if he starts feeling bad or if he has trouble breathing!!

If his o2 dips into the 80s he needs to head to the ER. I just got over Covid and that's what Dr told me. As odd as it is Tylenol helped give me the most relief and Robitusin DM for the cough.

DWK, watch this video. Dr. Ben Edwards shares some good info. A lot of the video is talking about vaccines, which isn't relevant to your dad right now, obviously. But he talks a good bit about treatments for people sick with COVID too. Maybe something in there will help your dad.

If o2 is below 90 he needs to be at the er

Have him go get the infusion. My dad was having same issues and got his infusion 2 nights ago and feels much better now.

He was averaging O2 levels of 92-93 around 11:00 tonight. He decided to go ahead and go in to the hospital and should be arriving there any minute. He was scheduled to get the antigen injection tomorrow at 2:30 so maybe they will give it to him early and start that process.

I appreciate the support and prayers.
