Ok i do know the reputation of Spypoint cameras. So with that said i bought one last year. It worked as advertised. So fast forward to this year. I can't get the firmware to update. I had just about given up when i found a tip on another site. So i copied, and pasted each individual update to the sd card. There were a total of seven updates. I pulled the battery pack prior to inserting the sd card. So the sd card was installed then the battery pack, then the camera was powered on. The new firmware updated just like it should. Prior to this i would download the file to the sd card, and the firmware wouldn't upload, so i hope this will help someone else.

last season I called them and they were able to do the updates for me using the cell signal.Comment

I tried to do the updates and never could get them to work. Even customer support tried and couldn't get the updates loaded. They finally just sent me a new camera.Originally posted by Dusty8186 View Post
I think my original camera had issues from the start. The battery meter never showed more than 50% and the signal strength was always at 40%. Now, everything shows 100%.Comment
