Should I get a new bow?

I have had a Mathews Creed for a few years now, it's in tip top shape and I'm not selling it, but I've been itching for a new one here lately. Probably a VXR or V3. But there's nothing wrong with the old solocam and I shoot lights out with it. How much more bow am I getting with a new one? Should I keep slinging with old faithful or fork over the money?

Best bet would be going to a shop and shooting them, then make your decision. See if you feel it’s a worthwhile upgrade compared to the Creed. You already know what you have in that one so you have a basis for comparison.

Both bows you mentioned are awesome, but there really isn’t anything wrong with a Creed either.

I shot a creed XS and just sold it to my brother and got a V3, and i love it. Does it kill more deer than my creed would have? probably not. But the draw cycle is smoother in my opinion and the longer ATA is nice. Im happy with my decision.

Went in to get my DXT restrung and the shop owner put a VXR in my hand. I liked it and he started putting a rest on, then loop, sight, etc… By the time it was over, I had a calculated kinetic energy sheet in front of me, a guy telling me I could kill a water Buffalo with it, and I was staring at a $2300 credit card charge.

I took a deep breath as the tech brought my DXT over. I said “you mind if I chrono this one and run the calculations”? I walked out with the knowledge that I can still smack a Buffalo with my trusty ‘08 model DXT and saved $2200.

          Shot a 208 2/8” the next month.

I do enjoy the 30" ATA in the original Creed, the XS is too short for me

Should I get a new bow? You serious?
One should always get a new bow or a new gun or truck or girlfriend. If you don't you will regret it. But you should not get the Jab

Yeah the only good thing about it being short was when i was hunting inside a pop up blind. That bow was also quieter than my V3.
