I'm going on a mule deer bowhunt in Arizona this winter. I'm shooting out to 70 yards on level ground, but want to practice shooting steep uphill & downhill shots. Standing on top of my roof in the neighborhood is frowned upon, so I was hoping to find a big tank dam, hill, river bottom, gravel pit, etc here close to shoot once/twice a month. Anybody have access to something like that? I'm in Cypress & work in Tomball. Thanks

Where to practice downhill shots?

Go rent a hotel room, make sure they have at least five stories. Then get a room up on at least the 5th floor, with a balcony. Then set up some targets in the grass and or parking lot, preferably the grass, if you want to reuse your arrows.
If anyone has a problem with you doing this in the day time, wait till around midnight or later. Another option, is if they have a swimming pool, Styrofoam floats and makes a great floating target. Shooting into the water would probably prevent much damage to your arrows.
Just some ideas. Another idea, is find a hill and shoot down hill from the top.

OP
Like someone already posted. Go some place. Get high in a tree and practice.
For up hill I'd recommend finding the closest WMA or public land near you that has hills.
Lake Georgetown has a trail around the lake. Like 25 miles around.
I can promise you on that trail there are uphill climbs as well as downhill.
When you find the downhill area you like, move out a few yards to get away from the main trail.
Its to dam hot otherwise, I'd go on the trail I went on to get to my stand. But here is hwere you park -
