Were 3:73’s an option? I was told 3:55 or 4:10

I did a F-250 2022 Iconic Sliver Sport package with amp power steps.
I went without the sunroof on this one because I’ve never opened the one on my 2017.
Basically built the same truck as my 17 but added rear heated seats and sport package. The price has gone up like $7000 in 5 years.

There really isn’t much difference.
There was a $600 difference on the King Ranch vs the lariat. My lariat build was $78,390 and I paid $74,795.
Doing the sport package you can’t get power boards so I’ll have to pay an additional $1600 for the amp steps to be put on at he dealership so I’ll be at $76,795.

Guess I should edit that to say you can get a 4.10 in the diesel in a dual rear wheel truck.Last edited by TX03RUBI; 08-18-2021, 08:23 AM.

I don’t know about the 2022 model, but my 2017 came with the 3.73 option and get 20-21 mpg on interstate going 75 mph and gets 13-15 mpg pulling a 25 ft gooseneck with two horses in it

I realize you already ordered, but everything I've read, and friends that own them, the 10 speed does an awesome job regardless of the gearing. Unless you are towing all the time, you will be just fine with any gear ratio. Also, if it were me, I would go with the same ratio you did if I got to pick anyways.
Hell I have the 6 speed still, and tow our 9,000 lb camper all over no issues with the 3.31's.

You’re going to love the new one over your old one. The 10 speed transmission did wonders for these trucks. I had a 19 and now have a 21 and it is a noticeable difference (I’m not some car/truck fanatic either).
I’m running 37s on 22s with a 6” lift and am getting around 16 mpg hand calculated, but I didn’t buy for fuel mileage.
