    Paramedics

Any paramedics that are looking for a change send me a PM or post here. We are hiring several people right now. I can guarantee it will be a pay increase if you are working the streets as a medic on a box. Health insurance for me and the family is about 230 a month.

    Little info:
Offshore, could be boat, barge, platform, jackup, semisub, if it works in the gulf there is a chance you could be on it.

You will be trained to an expanded scope of practice by the medical director. Includes antibiotic therapy, sutures, use of other Rx meds on board, major focus on assessment skills, and much more. We are a fully stocked clinic when on a project, some locations even have tpa.

Most common rotation is 14 days on and 14 days off. Although some projects are 21 and 21 and if you go overseas it will normally be 28 and 28.

All meals provided, someone to do your laundry and make your bed, almost every job I have been on has internet access. Its just like home except your wife aint here .. cokes, snacks, candy all the crap that you shouldnt be eating is laid out for you.

Any questions just let me know.

Very, very few jobs for an emt offshore.
Paramedic is the minimum almost everywhere.

Some places want their safety guys to be emt trained but its really a waste, because they cant do anything advanced.

                    Howdy bill

Semisub is a type of floating drilling rig. Kind of looks like a pontoon boat. Top half of rig is where the equipment & people are & bottom of structure is long, huge "pontoon" type tubes that float the upper part.

Google "spar & semisubmersible drilling rigs" for more info. Most newer rigs are semisub's.

Good luck dealing with the inevitable new gun control laws in Cali from the hospital shootings today. You sure you want to stay in the "Left Coast" instead of coming to TEXAS? LOL

Dont know if there is a set increase for cc. Although I'd say he could negotiate a higher starting pay than someone who is not a CC-medic.

Thats about the best answer. depending on the size of the rig, up to 50 feet of it is below the water and it floats. Held in place by 8 to 36 anchors.

its semi submersible because some of it is submersed.
