How big a place are you looking at. The red circle area is decent hunting with axis. Holler if you have any questions. Born and raised in Brady. I know a few people in that area

Hunting near Lohn here. Great area for deer numbers. Seen a lot of potential in young bucks but I believe it’s heavily hunted out here. We have some 2.5 and 3.5 year olds that are 120-130”. We let them go but I think most around here smoke them because we haven’t seen many fully mature bucks in two years so far.

That's a large area you have circled. I've been hunting McCulloch County for 20 years. Great place to buy anywhere on the top side of the mountain.

Shin oaks are great when the acorns drop. Be near a wheat field when it starts greening up.

Killed this low fence deer a little north of there, close to Doole TX.
That is a gorgeous deer. I see that crab claw gene a lot in this area. My cousin hunts in Doole and we go hang out at his camp all the time. Good deer, but I’ve figured out this area has a lot of hunting pressure. Lot of gunshots during Thanksgiving weekend.
