At one time they did a one time deferral if the youth was within the "control" of a licensed hunter. Control=Eyeshot or earshot. Might look into that. How old is he?

Holy crap, Dale. Seems like a year or two ago when your son was born. I must be getting old, because I remember when I was young only old people said stuff like what I just said.

Gonna be a great hunt and memory for you and your son. Can't wait to follow along.

I remember Dale Moser as a very young man, still college age and single, finding himself on PINS.

Yes - it's going on 30 years now.

So many are gone - including Legdog.

I'm still here - so the first two to hit 10,000 posts on TBH - I'm thinking maybe we need to kick it back to some of our beginnings.

This is exactly how it went coming in! Brady said “dad, it’s like it’s raining mud!” These “roads” are shot. Ben skated in in the 4wd Tahoe, it took us substantially more throttle in my truck.

We got in, ate the FINEST steak tenderloin, and Camry’s mammaw’s Mac and cheese, and had some drinks. Not sure what we’ll be able to get to in the morning, but Snoop is fired up and Ben is ready to put one in front of him.

If it rains over night we could be afoot.

God how I missed this place, it’s been very cool to see how a 10 year old appreciates the views.
