Question for Tactacam Reveal users

Using the app I changed from photo to "Pic+video" and clicked Apply. It's been several days and it is still just sending pics. Is there something I'm missing or something else I need to do to get videos?

It should only take 24 hours. Try it again or call them

Open the app and look at your camera setting. See if it’s still in camera or video mode.

I'm fairly certain the camera will only send pictures, not video. You will have to download the video from the card when you go check the camera

I had mine set on video for a little while and I'm pretty sure this is correct. I never found a way to retrieve any through the app.

You might be able to log into the camera's WiFi when in range and get it that way but I haven't tried that yet.

That could very well be the case. The video may only be stored on the SD card.


I’ve never used video mode. I have too many deer there for that.

That makes sense - thanks for the replies. I think I better switch it back to just picture mode. I have it on our dedicated pig feeder - no pen. There's a group that comes in everyday, eat everything then roll around in the dirt and take a nap for about an hour. A video's gotta be gobbling up a bunch of memory
