Package from federal express not delivered!!!

I ordered a computer about 5-6 years ago and the LCD wasn't delivered. The showed that I had signed for the computer and LCD when it delivered. When I got home the computer was on the front porch. The driver had signed for me and just left a computer on the front porch. FED Ex wouldn't do anything about it since "I signed" for it and had some of it. To them signing and having some of it meant I should have all of it. I called HP and they shipped me a monitor the same day and said they have had problems with FedEx like this with other shipments. I haven't used FedEx since.

UPS is the best luck I have had shipping things. I know both drivers for my house and at work. FedEx does about a 5050 job on getting things delivered and on time. USPS sux. I love their tracking system. "Electronic scan of item on such and such date. Check back tonight for update info." I have never seen it updated until after it is delivered and normally it doesn't show delivered until the next day.

My company ships probably 400 t0 500 packages per day. Fedex will beat the rates we have with UPS, but in a test we did with them last year there were errors on over 85% of what they shipped for us.

UPS is good on small packages but their freight service they started offering is horrible. 8 business days for a pallet from Ft Worth to Waco.

Many businesses will use both UPS and Fedex but one is their primary carrier. You might request UPS the next time.

I think it is what drivers you have. I have had great UPS and FedEx drivers, then I have had some horrible ones on both ends. FedEx has left things a few doors down, not even close to the same address, then UPS has lost things. I have had pretty good luck with UPS, but know the driver really well, so that helps.

great news guys ! i received a phone call from an individual yesterday who wanted to know if i was expecting a package ! i said i sure was ! he also did not receive a package . it was about a mile down from the house. i was able to talk to the fed ex guywho made the mistake and he really felt bad and said there wasnt an excuse for his mistake . i can accept that! but i will try to use the ups or the postal service!
