    Best Way to Ship Bow?

I am shipping a bow to Indiana. I have never shipped one before. What is the best way to package and ship from your experience?

I just shipped one a couple of months ago, nothing to it. Go to your local bow shop and ask them for a box that a bow had been shipped in. When I did this they were glad to give me a box that would fit my bow. I offered to pay them for it but they just gave it to me. Said they were glad to get rid of them as they just take up space.

Took it down to the local pack and ship and sent it off. Nothing to it.

Get a old or cheap plastic bow case and put a label right on it.

        This ^^^^

I just shipped two bows to Virginia.
Got 2 bow boxes from the local bow shop. Bought some big bubble wrap from Lowe’s.
Placed bubble wrap in bottom of boxes, put the bows in & enough bubble wrap on top to keep the bows from sliding around in the boxes.
Taped both boxes together and off they went.

FYI... if you use UPS, shipping isn’t cheap.

Bow shop. Bow box. And buy some stuff while you’re there.

Thanks. I'm probably 70+ miles from Texas Archery where I had my last bow set up. I'll look to see if there are any shops closer to me.

I bought one from another TBH'er a few weeks ago. He tried to send it in just the case, the post office would not accept it that way. Required it to be in a box, aside from the case. Just fyi ...

what Fishndude said " Bow shop. Bow box. And buy some stuff while you’re there."

I shipped a bow this morning. UPS is normally 25.00-30.00 I wrap bubble wrap around cams and limbs even though
bow only comes in a plastic bag from factory.
