I’ve been looking for a new 7ft cutter. I had pretty much decided on a Rhino TW27. I came across the Bad Boy cutters. Spec wise, they are heavier built than Rhino. 10g steel vs 12g steel. Runners, braces, shields, and connections are all 1/4” steel as well. The only downside is the Rhino TW27 gear box is rated for 130hp and the Bad Boy 7ft is rated at 85hp. Both have a gearbox warranty. Bad Boy dealer is here local. Rhino isn’t, but parts aren’t hard to order. Has anyone bought/used/seen a Bad Boy?

I don’t have a bad boy cutter. But I did just buy a TW25 and I did look at the bad boy 5ft cutter. Idk why but to me the Rhino just looked better made. It was also cheaper at 2200 and I believe the Bad Boy was right above 3k maybe more. I priced so many I forget which was how much but know it was more. Ultimately I went with a trusted brand vs the bad boy. So far I’ve been very pleased, only had it for a couple of days though so time will tell.

It’s hard to beat a rhino! We ran 15’ rhinos slope mowing and they were tanks
I run a 15’ bush hog legend now and I’ve been pretty impressed with it. I’d be torn if I were to buy new between the two.
May want to also give the modern ag products a look too they build heavy duty stuff
