Friend of mine just found out that his dad had an old bow that he'd been given some time ago. His dad mailed him the bow and he got it yesterday. It's a PSE Carroll Marauder. Anyone have any idea when these were made? He's taking it to Keith's in Waco to get it checked out. Any suggestions for him?

Check it out real good before you try to spend money to fix it up.
check the limbs for any hairline cracks, inspect the strings for wear, and the cams for any warping or cracks.
measure his draw length and see if the bow will even fit him. also the older style bows are hard to find parts for. be careful it may end up being cheaper to buy a new bow.
