I was actually looking at this one a few days ago.

I don’t have to worry about Aoudad or anything, but apparently someone that has one of these allegedly did. Check out the reviews at your link, specifically the 1 Star rating on Page 2 that includes a picture.

They must have some bad boy aoudad where they hunt lol, ive watched them get rammed repeatedly with my own 2 eyes while hunting. Maybe the aoudad where i was hunting are just weak lol.

Don’t know about those. Ours are way bigger and have 4 spouts. The aoudad beat on those and crush them till the opening is not hardly wide enough to get your fingers in. Then, since the beat on all four sides, they eventually break the welds that holds the whole lower spout system to the hopper. In the process, that totally destroys the inner parts that hold the motor in place. It’s a nightmare, to say the least!

The pic in that 1star review on the website looks like a brand new feeder compared to what they do to the stand and fill corn feeders!!!

That makes sense, these sit low enough they are ramming the midway between the top lid and the opening for protien, i guess the actual container that hold the protein is stronger metal than the opening at the bottom

Ha! mine are not horse or hog proof so should be easy for a bear :-)

a friend in the Davis Mountains put an electric fence around his feeder. He said the deer and elk will jump over it but he hasn't seen the bear since he put it up. Before the electric fence he showed me a picture of the bear laying on 300 lbs of corn emptied from the feeder.
