I was skeptical of the rage from day one. Then I had a little extra cash on a BPS card, so I got some 2-blade. I shot a ram with them in March and holy cow! A 4" hole and a 8 yard track. They fly GREAT. Just like my field points. You won't regret switching.

Shooting a mechanical because it "flies like a field point" is just the easy way out. In less than an hour, you can get your bow to shoot EVERY broadhead, just like a field point. I do have some Rage heads in my box, but because they perform, not because they fly.

        X2, except this part:

They work great, or they don't work at all. Not much middle ground here.

I have shot them since they came out. I think I have taken 9 deer with them. 8 complete pass thoughs. The 1 that did not was severely quartering away. It more then did its job, deer went less then 40 yards. As long as you are smart enough to make sure the blades are properly snapped in place before shooting they do great.

The Atom...zero potential to fail at launch, at impact or in penetration. The ONLY broadhead with a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE to accuracy with no limitations.

No marketing hype...just the fact science provides clarity to true results without need of marketing hype or claims of performance only delivered some of the time...not all of the time. We deliver 100% of the time....especially at that critical moment of the shot opportunity...

shoot 'em, you won't regret it!

Never had an animal that was shot with one live. I have taken critters out to 47 yards with them.

                Here's something to think about!!!

Tune your bow and shoot a variety of heads. Preferrably one that gets better penetration and has 100% blade exposure!

Gotta agree with this line of comments. Your rig should be tuned regardless of whether you are shooting mechanicals or fixed blade heads. A lot of guys love the Rages, but there is no shortage of great flying and performing broadheads. Tuning affects accuracy (yes even with field points), penetration (arrows flying straight go deeper), and even speed (all that fishtailing etc is bleeding speed off)... To me the use for mechanicals is 2 fold... one where longer shots with wind are going to come up... like stalking mule deer out west etc. and for those who want to punch a bigger hole in soft skinned game. I kinda go back and forth. I like grim reapers, but my Sonics fly well out to 50 yards even in a good breeze.

They fly just like my field points. No change.

fly great and have killed everything I have touched with it. My only complaint, like someone else said earlier, is that they do come open pretty easy when brushed against something etc...

My experience with the 2 blade rage they are hard to keep closed, make a noise in flight, and don't shoot the same as practice head. If you are going to shoot them I would sacrifice one to shoot at a broadhead target. My son has been shooting the 3 blade rage and hasn't had a problem with them, but he has to keep checking to make sure there closed.

I am switching from 85 grains to 100 grains and had by bow tuned to shoot Slick tricks. When I put the 100 grain field tips on my bow was shooting about an inch low but dead center. So to me the bow is tuned because the arrow dropped because of the heavier weight.

I have never gotten my broadheads to fly exactly like my fieldpoints, they have always been close but not exact.

My point is that my bow may not be tuned 100% but it is close, so ihave always adjusted the sights a little to tune for the broadhead.

I want to know will the rage eliminate this minor tuning?

I am going with Atoms, but I like my Montecs. So I will broadhead tune my field points and Montecs at 20 yards and shoot the Atoms. I then have all the bases covered.

I aint a fan of Rages, each to there own.
