W. or N. Texas day lease similar to First Point

I'm pretty new to hunting and have never been on a lease. I lost the day lease place I used to hunt in west Texas (Paducah) last year so I'm hoping to find somewhere to go this year for a few days. I was looking at First Point and I certainly like the price, but it's a drive. Anything up here in north or west Texas that would be comparable that's not 6 hours away from DFW? Money is tight (daughter is headed to Baylor) so I'm not looking to spend the thousands it takes to hunt an exotic heavy or HF ranch with 150' deer. I don't have a problem with them.... just can't afford them right now. I'm looking for basically a meat hunt, and would be pumped to just have a few days in the woods and have some meat in the freezer. So, what's up this way... or should I start planning for a road trip? I've looked some, but can't find anything that doesn't charge a pretty expensive rate or large trophy fees.

Been to First point three times. Been about 10 years , but I don’t have anything bad to say as I really enjoyed hunting south texas.

Saying that , it’s not a meat hunt.

I get that. From what I've read the deer know you're there and you better brush, brush, brush your blind. Getting away from staring at a computer monitor all day is needed. Meat is second, antlers are third.
