And if the school doesn't want to invest the money to compete with the other schools in your conference, assuming they have the resources, then you quit. So did he quit recruiting, or did kids visit Florida state, and then visit Clemson, Florida, Georgia, etc...and say hey, look how nice these places are compared to Florida state and go there instead??? What about the guys who succeeded him and sucked. Was it them? He was a pita....lol. I heard it all from Florida state fans when he left. It's called butthurt. They also talked about how much he sucked and how the new guy was going to be so much of an upgrade. Yeah well, it may not have been all the coach. I now present to you herman and strong. Maybe they sucked, but maybe there was a lot more going on.

    Sip logic. Love it!

You can polish the **** all you want.. TexAgs spun it good for you[emoji23][emoji23]

I’ll take an insiders view versus a spun narrative polishing [emoji1303]. All I’m saying is you better hope he doesn’t give up like he did there

I'm not on texags. Just listen to different podcasts, listen to the news, read here, and observe. Facts are facts. Orange blood got that spin going though. Been going a while, down the drain. Now a reach for the sec to try to save the program, which is a good move and I dont blame them. But then again, with those orange glasses on all yall see I'd blue, lolol! Come on Jason, you know he ain't a s*** coach. Never heard anyone other than a Florida state fan say that.

Hopefully for yalls sake he doesn’t do that before he fills out that blank plaque..[emoji15]

Like RLB said, this sounds like insecurity to me. He left for a better gig with more money and better facilities. The train wreck that ensued at Free Shoes Univ is not all on Jimbo. And Quite frankly why should Aggies care? He’s done a great job at A&M. Double digit winning season on tap. He’s under paid in my opinion. I’d recommend an extension and raise now. One day Sark might be as accomplished but until then…

I didnt say he was a **** coach but did get lazy on the recruiting trail after winning a NC and then started wanting out.

Secondly Fisher hasn’t done anything at Aggie that Herman didn’t do at Texas… yet. Well except Herman beat the second best team in the SEC in Georgia in their NY6 bowl versus the Ags at North Carolina. Somehow the win against North Carolina is a much more elite program propelling win than Texas’ win over Georgia was that year. We were told Georgia didn’t want to be there tho.. so maybe that’s why that is.

Now why in the hell would there ever be a reason to be insecure about Aggie? See the paragraph above about Herman and the Sugar Bowl.[emoji23][emoji23]

I dont think that's the difference. If you really think they are similar at all, you dont pay much attention to either team. I now present to you Maryland, kansas, Iowa, tcu, and I'm sure many more bad losses. I'm waiting for you to show me our bad losses. Yes we get stomped by bama every year, but find me our losses against catfish teams.

Nobody said Fisher has done more than Herman. I’d be disappointed if he doesn’t keep the arrow pointing up and surpass everything Herman accomplished. It won’t be hard. It would be a disappointment of a season if Fisher doesn’t return to NY6 bowl at a minimum.

I mentioned last night that Fishers record against ranked teams 5-8 the last three seasons at A&M isn’t acceptable. And I am convinced that’s going to improve. That said look into the numbers a little. He has played #1 like 5 games in that 13 game data set. That’s crazy when you think about it. He wasn’t beating those #1 teams (Bama, Clemson, and LSU) with the roster Sumlin left.

Yeah that sounds like bad news for the remaining 8. I don't have any idea what a positive scenario could be but if "eyes on TV sets" is as important as they say it is my Cowboys should find a good place to land. For example, even excluding when they play OU and UT, Ok State has more average viewers than any team in the PAC - 12 except USC. I would think that counts for something.

This is what I’m getting at. We were excited about our NY 6 bowl win. Y’all shot it down. Now y’all are excited about the same thing… so we are doing our part.[emoji41][emoji12][emoji23]. Congrats on the 4th place finish and NY6 bowl but you never know what’s looming the next season.[emoji41]
