American Idol...loss of interest but

I was gung ho on the show when it first started but I really haven't seen the show in about 3 weeks. Just kind of lost interest I guess. Well my wife told me to come see Adam Lambert sing so I stopped what I was doing (on TBH because I am a man card holder) to listen to him squeal like a pig. I think he enjoy's doing that. Anyways, Duuuuuuuuaaaaaamn!!! I see my boy Danny is still in there but it looks like Lambert will when the whole thing. As Randy would say, 'Mad vocals'. Check 'em out last night.

He may be the best entertainer on there since Carrie Underwood. He has definitely left the rest of the pack. Danny is also my favorite.

That being said...Adam might be a flamer, but the boys has got some mad pipes....the others are merely fighting for second place and a little more face time

I consider myself to be a fairly tolerant guy when it comes to the light in the loafer set but the prancing way he takes the stage and constant over-singing leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. (no pun) Ack, spit.

I don't get the Lambert Kid. Sure he can scream out some notes, but why do they keep saying he is current?
Dude could belt out some Journey or Whitesnake or Skid Row, Guns and Roses, etc. but I see him as nothing more than an annoying screaming queen of a cover artist.
Why do I watch this show with my wife?

I'm a tolerant guy myself when it comes to others who like to travel that highway BUT this Lambert fella is the reason I have lost interest in the show. His over singing (feminine notes) makes me feel kind of dirty (not in a good way).

I do think he will win it though. I hope I am wrong and my boy Gokey kicks it in overdrive the next few weeks.

Yeah probably... and it makes me feel out of touch for the first time in the history of ever. I may actually have to toss a protest vote out there when it comes down to Gokey and Lambert. (I have never voted on this stuff)

Seriously... I can handle Greeenday's Billy Joe Armstrong's eye liner and funky politics but Lambert's style and over-singing just make my stomach turn.

Even though he probably has no business with issues of tone, I did enjoy Tarrantino. I'm a fan of his insanity. I think he's a very relevant guy.
