    You’re not wrong. This is where I’m at currently, but this is due to the family. I’m working on an exit strategy as it speaks. 30, single, and no kids while able to survive a downturn easily I’d do it without a doubt though. If I was in OP shoes I’d do it, but that’s due to him already being oilfield. I wouldn’t leave a stable career in another much more stable field for the oilfield regardless if it was onshore or offshore.

      Same here. Hard to find similar pay for me without being offshore though.
