    Replacing golf cart tires, DIY?

I need new tires for my golf cart. Is this something I can do at home or do you need to take them to a tire shop?

Anyone with experience doing this at home?

You mean removing and mounting new ones? I’ve done them on my lawnmower, just buy a tire spoon set. It’s doable but a pain.

Mounting them yourself is a bear! Discount Tire did mine for free.

I started replacing my from riding mower tires last week, I would rather change a tractor tire!

Tire shop mounted them both for $20 and it was money well spent!

The smaller the tire, the bigger the pain !

My neighbor did his, it was a pain. You can use a ratchet strap around the tire to help set the bead. There were some videos on YouTube for help.

Took mine to discount. Last time they charged me $10/tire. But they have also done it for free. They had trouble setting the bead so I was glad to pay it.
