In that area, Hebert's or Market Basket are probably your best options. Don's is great if you end up going that far east.

A buddy of mine is opening a seafood market off 71 in Bastrop this fall. We will be doing Louisiana style boudin and cracklins there as well.

I've stopped there multiple times. Good boudin, just a couple miles from the highway.
