    Upper Guadalupe River

Or lower Guadalupe river for the best fishing? Many of you know I have a special needs son that loves the outdoors. I’m looking for a riverfront cabin with deep water, deep enough to fish in, where we won’t be interrupted or interrupt tubers etc.
So is the upper Guadalupe better for fishing, deeper etc or lower? Additionally, what is the best time of year to go? As usual thanks for yalls input!

I always found the river down past new braunsfels didn’t have tubers but more boats so is definitely deeper. Haven’t fished it much though. Usually fish the river early before tubers get on them I float myself

Check out this map on Texas Fly Fishing for the Guadalupe. I do not believe anyone is tubing in the area shown.

I kayaked the area between Kerrville and Centerpoint. I saw a few kayak fisherman, but no tubers. There was a good deep area and a park right as you get into Centerpoint
