Sargent guides

Looking for recommendations for a fishing guide in Sargent between July 21-24. I tried searching but nothing really came up for Sargent, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Almost all of the Sargent guides are fishing out of Matagorda now for a number of reasons. I'm sure there are a couple still operating out of there but the majority now fish out of Matagorda Harbor.

Matagorda is 10 minutes further than Sargent from my house. Capt Glenn is a great guide if he has openings.

There’s an old fella that runs a giant Carolina Skiff out of Sargent, he’s a guide but I forgot his name
I see him on the East end of the bay all the time

Probably Gene Allen.

Might look up Payton with shells2Scales guide service , there is a lot of good ones down there, but most run out of Matagorda..

Yep that is Gene Allen in the Carolina Skiff, Good guy.
His wife has Caney Y realty and does a lot of vacation rentals
