    Aetna customer service

Longshot...but anyone here with Aetna customer service or more specific Aetna coordination of benefits? Its a long story, but y'all got some bills to pay

In all seriousness, there are unresolved charges from 2019 that we were told about a few months ago. We have been trying to reach the correct person or dept to handle and have been unsuccessful. We even thought this was completely taken care of to get another nasty letter from our doctor's office this past week. We keep calling and getting transferred...and for someone reason can't even get transfer to the right company let alone department that can handle this.

So knowing its a Longshot I am hoping to see of anyone here works for Aetna and can give me a direct number to someone who can assist. Thanks.

I don't work for Aetna but have called 1-800-445-1808 when I have an issue. Have your EOBs available it possible.

funny you say that .. i just got a call and letter from an local ER that is having issues with Aetna on an visit from 2018! they want me to jump thru hoops to get Aetna to pay up cause they given them the stiff-arm. Called 2x and quickly found out its not my favorite thing to do. I'll let them duke it out.

I have bills from my son's birth... on day 2 I thought I was doing the right thing by calling my insurance and enrolling him. My insurance paid all the bills. A year and a half later they did an audit and found that they were not the responsible party since he is "automatically enrolled" on the wife's insurance for 30 days. So up until about 2 months ago I had no idea he was on her insurance and hers should have been the responsible party.

Now there are 4 charges that her insurance should pay. The worst part is the hospital billing debt won't touch it, my insurance who is pointing the finger and saying they aren't responsible won't call to do it...has to be us.

What a mess. Call wife's insurance, give them the details, get a name, number, & reference/case #. Call Aetna & give them that info & let them duke it out.
