Who has off July 5th?

We are off on Monday, 7/5. Pretty standard in the Corporate world for the 4th of July to be one of the paid holidays and typical procedure is if it lands on a Saturday, you get the Friday before and if it lands on a Sunday, you get the Monday after. Same goes for the other fixed date holidays that can land on different days of the week each year like Christmas Day, New Years Day, etc.

same here,have worked it for the last 19 years for the OT,took it off this year

my wife is off but just found out she'll have to work from home part of the day on something that has to get done.

Just got a surprising email that we were off. Wasn't expecting that. Will still be on the phone all day with work but from home at least
