Holt Helicopters will likely come out of Uvalde. My last quote was $700 per hour.

We use Holt and that is what ours runs per hour plus mileage. There are two other ranches in our area that do it at the same time so we split the mileage charge.

OP not to high jack your thread. I know nothing about heli surveys or drone regulations. Can you do a survey with drones?

Concho Aviation. Price will depend on size of aircraft. Give them a call they can probably schedule you around another ranch in the area if it is a smaller job.

You need the deer to move to be seen in most situations. Deer laying under a bush are very difficult to spot. Places that helicopter survey frequently can experience the problem of deer refusing to move.

You just need a drone with “sound.”

                    Camera and feeders won’t suffice?

I thought of the noise thing.
All you need is a recorded loop of twig snapping attached to the drone. Poof they gone!
