I've been dabbling in some online poker ever since our TBH group got started. I found this program on the computer called Discord, and one of the server's I have joined is helping facilitate an online satellite tournament to send one person to the World Series of Poker Main Event. This Satellite tournament is tomorrow, July 27th at 1 pm central.
During the recent Amazon Prime Day, I purchased a Blue Yeti microphone. I've since figured out how to stream on twitch and plan on just messing around, drinking a few whisky's and having some fun streaming the tournament. I hope I make a deep run. We're anticipating 1st place out of roughly 120-150 ish getting the $10,000 buyin to the World Series of Poker. As of this post, there are 90 confirmed entrants and a pool of $11,505... so $1,505 split amongst probably 3-4 folks or so. The number will grow tomorrow as more people join the tournament and rebuy. The hosts believe there is potential for multiple people to have a 4-firgure payout, which would be great since it's stacked so heavily for the 1st place prize.

This tournament was announced back in May and they hosted $15 satellites to the satellite. The rules were simple, 10 people pay $15, the winner out of those 10 received a seat into the tournament. I ended up winning the first tournament, so I'm looking at a seat that cost me $15 with a chance to go to the WSOP where the winner of that got $10,000,000 in 2019. Extreme longshot - but crazier things have happened!
If you want to play in the tournament, $115 entry fee gets you 1500 chips. You'll need to do the following: Download and join Discord; Join one of the four servers: Full Send, Corona Degens, IPonker or Dennis (I've been a member of Corona Degens since February, am a vouched host and trust the admins/moderators above me running the place.
