    Need help from fellow TBHers!Please!!

Well for the last 5 years we have had a year round lease at the Mcnutt ranch. Well two years ago they banned bowhunting from us because a few deer had not been recovered from bowhunters. I know because I was one of the members who had an unrecovered animal. I know that ethically it is wrong to put a poor shot on an animal and lose it, but to me I do not think that it should be punished because that it is why we call it hunting and not killing....right? Well I know that in the past few seasons dayhunting has been allowed but was supposed to be monitored as to not shoot out the property. Well I have noticed the posts on Rate the Day Lease lately and have come to the conclusion that bowhunting for day hunters has been allowed?

Well if ya'll have aby info that it has been allowed than yall would be doin me a huge favor to let me know. I have been fortunate enough to be able to afford a gun space on the lease for $2700. The gun allots me to harvest 1 w/t buck 1 exotic buck and 3 does of any species and as many hogs and turkeys as I can legally harvest. Well this past weekend I drove down to collect some meat(with a gun) b/c I have only shot one doe off my space....Well I hunted for three days on the free range section on the south side of I-10 and only saw 4 exotic does the entire time...Out of the 12 feeders on that side only two were standing because of a supposed 250 lb. hog that was knockin over every feeder on that side...the only feeders standing were the ones that were fed by the lease members and were not known by the ranch owners.....

Well I just am asking for help from the fellow TBHers that might of hunted the ranch in the last few years on the free range with a bow....I dont want any of ya'll to go on a "meat hunt" in the near future and experience what we did this past weekend....thanks guys gander

Maybe I misread something...you are paying $2700 a year to be on a lease that also allows day hunting?

These were from the free range side a few years back. Same day within hours of each other. I've been wanting to go back bad, but I guess I won't anymore if things are that bad
